Hello ladies I am going for m 3rd FET in a few days. So far none worked and doctors seem to think it may have something to do with immunologic issues, since all the rest is fine (embryos, uterus, etc ). In my past transfers I was on 5 mg only of prednisone which now I know is like almost nothing. I have been making research and there is a lot of different information : some ladies start taking the steroids since CD1, others until the day of transfer, others are on 10 mg per day, others on 20 mg, I have even seen 60 mg per day !! Some take them for a few days after transfer, others until pregnancy test. Congrats on your DD- I see that this FET was successful! Can anyone share information and dosage and if it helped get a BFP ? I came across this post while searching the internet via google with this very same question! I've had 4 failed fresh ivf's (3 bfn's & 1 bfp but chemical). I'm currently at the beginning of my first fet cycle. I dont have pcos (I joined here so that I could contact you via this post). Prednisone belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It decreases your immune system's response to various diseases and conditions to reduce symptoms such as swelling and allergic-type reactions.
It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Prednisone is used as an anti-inflammatory or an immunosuppressant medication. Prednisone treats many different conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, or breathing disorders. Prednisone treats many different conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, or breathing disorders. You should avoid taking prednisone if you have a fungal infection that requires oral antifungals. Topical antifungals may not be an issue, but always let your doctor know what medicines you’re taking before starting Prednisone. Steroid medication can weaken your immune system, making it easier for you to get an infection. Avoid being near people who are sick or have infections. I have done 4 IVFs and SO many IUI, no luck at all. According to my RE there is nothing wrong with my Uterus cavity. I did that once a day till week 10 of my pregnancy. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining 3dpt.. While checking on internet I saw so many blogs about Prednisone being used to increase implantation. I was only scheduled to work for coming thursday and friday , I requested off for both and now free for a week... I actually had no symptoms until week 10 of my pregnany. In hindsight, I did have a tiny amount of spotting (implantation bleeding) on day 6 and 7 or 7 and 8. 5-DAY TRANSFER: -1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing 0dpt... Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining 4dpt.. I was wondering if : someone has used it, what was the outcome What dose when to start for how long did you use it any precautions when you were on it I'll appreciate all the experiences, opinions advises becoz I am very desperate now... LOL Lots of prayers for your pregnancy Congrats on transferring 2 :). I figured I had the time off work, so why not do it. I am going to post a breakdown for you on exactly what is happening. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining 5dpt.. I honestly sat around and watched lifetime movies for like 3 days after my transfer. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells 6dpt... HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT Thanks for that break down. No signs not even constipation...hmmmm My injection is HCG, for progesterone I use vaginal Suppositories and again I am so scared to push them too far in as I don't know whether that can touch embryo My Beta is on Spet 07. Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood 7dpt... And for the resting though I am off but I can't stay in couch, I am doing walking....going for shopping ( as we have bought a new condo and doing shopping for furniture) and some times ride is a bit bumpy (like on any normal a bit old road) I hope that won't hurt my embies. No, I only injected hcg twice (for trigger and booster).
